Ursinus, you and everyone you know are invited to stop by Troubles End Brewing on November 19th from 8-10pm for the wonderful musical stylings of Ursinus’s Jazz Band, String Ensemble, and Modern Band (UC Tonight). For the past several months, these ensembles have worked tirelessly to create inspired setlists guaranteed to make you bust a move!
There are three sets, each with its own twist featuring the musical talents of Ursinus students—some of whom are making their debut. This year marks yet another very successful year for the string ensemble and an equally amazing showcase of the jazz ensemble’s musical capabilities. As for the UC Tonight Band, this year is further proof of a community brought together by a love for music, inspiring students to coordinate and work together as a team to put on a show-stopping performance.
While there, expect a one-of-a-kind set list full of classics such as “Mind Over Matters,” “When I Fall In Love,” and “Movin’ Out.” And should you choose to, Troubles End offers a variety of delicious foods to eat that you can take “Hot To Go” after the show.

Each semester the music department runs smaller music groups such as the ones listed above, and if you are interested everyone is welcome to try them out! Each ensemble typically counts for one credit and is a great way to get involved in the music department and meet other members of the UC community.
