New Editor-In-Chief Hello

Becoming the next Editor-in-Chief for The Grizzly was not something I ever expected to do during my time at Ursinus! Being a Chemistry major who decided late freshman year to add English as a second major, the area of journalism was foreign to me. However, sophomore year, I got approached by the current EIC, who asked if I would be willing to write an article for her. Little did I know, one article would turn into many more, and eventually I found myself applying to be an editor for the next year. I served as the News Editor this year, alongside an amazing team full of talented people. Writing for The Grizzly never felt like an obligation – it was something that brought me genuine joy and excitement as I found different topics to write about and share with the campus.

I am so grateful to be able to act as EIC next year, and incredibly excited! Kate Horan has done an amazing job this year and shown me all the things I need to know. I can only hope to be as good as her! I owe so much to the team as well – all the editors have made my experience so fun this year, one of the reasons I felt passionate about applying to be EIC!
