Bears Working Hard Over Spring Break

Ursinus Baseball was active throughout the break, gearing up for the season through spring training. The team got big wins over Delaware Valley University and Kenyon College, finishing with a 3-5 record over the break. Pictured above is first-year pitcher Ryan Barrow, who allowed no runs in his three inning pitched over the break. 

Ursinus Softball competed hard in the early Spring, with the beginning of their season on the horizon. The team traveled to Florida for a successful tournament trip, beating Simmons and Waynesburg University. Pictured above is outfielder Samantha Mallen, whos hitting a red hot .500 early this season, in action. 

Ursinus Women’s Lacrosse is off to a great start early in the season, climbing to a 3-2 record. The group traveled to Colorado Springs for two big matchups against Colorado and Carthage College, getting a big win over Carthage 20-6. Pictured is junior Maeve Leonzi, who has starred with 16 goals this season. 


Ursinus men’s lacrosse shined over spring break, fighting towards a 3-3 record. The team fought hard against #2 Rochester Institute of Technology in a close loss, as well as getting big wins over Eastern and DeSales University. Pictured above is sophomore Harry Sweitzer, who has dominated with 11 goals early this season.
