The Collegeville Diner is the best diner I’ve ever experienced. As such, I feel that I deserve to highlight it, just as I’ve done with a few other spots around the Collegeville area. I love this diner because of the huge menu, kind service, reasonable prices, and unbelievable food.

Immediately when you walk in the door, you can catch a quick glance at the delicious treats in the small bakery section at the front of the diner, which lets you know you’re in for a treat. From there, the friendly family environment draws you in for a comfortable experience, whether you’re there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

I’ve visited the Collegeville Diner many times because I simply can’t get enough of it. Breakfast is my favorite time to go because the wide variety is off the charts. As mentioned, the menu has a lot of great selections. You really have to focus on what you want and it comes down to hard decisions. Breakfast took the most time for me to decide, but I ended up going with the Pancakes Deluxe.  This included two eggs & your choice of ham, bacon, sausage or scrapple along with your choice of pancakes. My exact order was chocolate chip pancakes with two eggs over easy and bacon. Man, oh man, was this one hefty meal! The chocolate chip pancakes were placed on top of each other, and they were gigantic, fluffy and sweet. The chocolate chips added the right amount of pizzazz along with the complements of butter and syrup. They were very filling and the eggs and crispy bacon served as an excellent side, pairing well with the pancakes.  This meal had me satisfied until dinner and I enjoyed the rest of my day on a brimful belly.

Dinner at the diner is almost as hype as breakfast, in my opinion. I’ve only had dinner there twice and I had a hot, pressed panini on both occasions. The most recent one I had was the Tuscan Steak Panini. This consisted of sliced London broil with sautéed mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes, fried onion & cheddar cheese, and was served with a side of BBQ sauce. The flavorful cheese within this glorious panini was unlike any other panini I’ve ever had. Other than that, the steak, tomatoes, and fried onion were a little skimpy, but it still tasted really good. For paninis, you have a choice of ciabatta, pita, or focaccia bread. Ciabatta is my go to since it’s always fresh. Paninis also come with french fries that are really crunchy. I love how they go hand in hand with the paninis and how they in a big portion.

I strongly recommend the Collegeville Diner’s unbelievable food and lovely experience any day of the week, especially for breakfast. All in all, the place brings out such a relaxing mood, such as their desserts late at night. The Collegeville Diner is my favorite diner and I hope you end up placing it high in your own rankings!
